H-E-Buddy Summer Reading Club (Statewide Texas)

All you have to do is read ten books and record them on your reading log to be rewarded with a special t-shirt.

Showcase Cinemas Bookworm Wednesdays (Statewide Texas)

Entitles kids to free admission to a select children’s film when they present a book report at a participating theater. Accompanying parents or guadians and children under six years of age receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.

    • June 1 – August 1, Summer Reading Program for kids, tweens, and teens up to 18 years of age. Read, log, review, and win awesome prizes! Families can win prizes too by signing up for the “Summer Reading for Grown Ups” and reaching the qualifying levels.

    • June 6 – August 6 “On Your Mark, Get Set… Read!” for babies 0 – 18 months, and for children 18 months – 12 years.
    • June 6 – August 6 “Get in the Game: Read” for teens 12 – 18 years
    • June 6 – August 6 “Exercise Your Mind: Read!” for adults
