Online trainings are provided by Family Stories Curriculum, also known as The Latino Family Literacy Project, a university-tested and parent-approved program. School staff will be trained to use a family-centered and research-based framework for parent engagement. Staff will provide a six to ten week parent engagement program for Spanish speaking parents at their school. The program supports family reading, vocabulary and language development, comprehension, and ESL skills.
It is recommended that 2 staff per school attend the training. Attendees will be prepared to provide the step-by-step curriculum for the program level of their choice. Simply select a program level and purchase. You can register for the webinar for a date within 1 calendar year. It’s that easy!
